I prefer not maxing out my Volvo's or Scania's anymore though. Don't overlook other brands. -The New Actros is a solid truck. This is my current main. -The 2021 DAF, might not be all that powerful but I find it an exceptionally fun truck to drive. -Last truck I bought was the DAF XF 105.

Doesn't pay as highly, but you can drive it anywhere. If you aren't already, don't sort your jobs by payout, but by price per distance. Driving 700km at 92 euro per km is better than driving 2000 km at 50 euro per km. Now, if it's variety that you want, simply stop caring about making money.

So I've been playing euro truck simulator 2 again and I've come to notice something close to game breaking the ferry price is about 5 times higher than it should be. It says its 960€ but after I've been travelled by ferry I notice I have 5000€ less on my account.

If I start a new game, I take the quick jobs for a while until I have some cash in my pocket. I then take a loan out and buy a decent enough truck, then hire one driver and buy the smallest truck for the driver. And then start earning cash. Make sure you put all the hired drivers on long distance or ADR then they earn more money.

Upgrade the trailer to an B-double and it again increases profits to 2750 on average. Sure it isnt much they make and they will never be as good as in terms of earnings but none the less hired hands experiences positive effects of trailers. Ontop of this they will also level up and as such earn more per trip. ykVJG.
