It also has a coating of soot on part of the underside - not sure where that's come from - needs further investigation. As to the EGR valve, the Valeo ones are £120-£130, but Googling the part number threw up this one which is a bit more wallet friendly if cleaning doesn't cure the problem.

[Engine] 2007 Citroen Berlingo 1.6 HDi Not Starting. pbws On the way up. Posts: 8 Threads: 2 Thanks Received: 0 in 0 posts Thanks Given: 0 Joined: Nov 2015 Hi all, Long time lurker, first time poster. I own a 2007 reg Peugeot Parnter 1.6 HDi (90 BHP). Excellent van, smooth driving, plenty of oomph and easy on juice - even in rural Ireland. I have a problem creeping up this past few weeks. When I'm driving along, a STOP warning light appears flashing and the 3 audible beeps sound. #1 23-03-2020, 08:31 PM Hi All I am after some advise on both of my vans please, but I will start with the Non Starter. It is a 58 Plate 1.6HDI 90BHP Partner. It was driving great up until 3 weeks ago. I drove it 20 miles from my Daughters house 3 Saturday nights ago, no problems, no funny noises, no warning lights. I'd find a Citroen independent who has it and knows these engines if the electronic stuff is not your area of tinkering as the HDi is electronically complex. Sorry for the long post but this issue is widely known across all brands that use the HDi 1.6 engine and can be a long and dreary path to resolve.

Had my used ex-motability 62 XTR e-Hdi automatic 4 weeks and Stop/ Start never worked. Read post about the battery needing to be fully charged. I have a CTEK XS 0,8 trickle charger and after a 24 charge it showed the battery fully charged and working properly. Drove off and Stop/start worked immediately.

The fault is described as Fuel Temperature Sensor A Circuit High. I spoke to a steeler and he didn't know what the sensor is and said it is not shown on his drawing. He said it might be the sensor that is on the side of the

Berlingo 2.0 hdi models of this age with siemens injection are fitted with a 5ws40025 e-t ecu. The last 2 letters pertaining to the type of software fitted ive been told. Ive seen many for sale ending ct.ft.ht.gt and the like the et version being a bit scarce and only fitted to berlingo/partner models. I've since tried again to start and it worked so it seems the same problem (not starting after running for some time) exists but it isn't the starter. Update #2: I found this video (i.e not mine) where a person is explaining his starter problem with a Citroen C2, and the experience with when starting is exactly the same (loud clicking sound 22-05-2020, 11:06 AM. During this recent hot weather have had a couple of EML warnings pop up on the van which have thrown up the code P3008 'Airflow higher than recommended' On checking with Lexia the Measured Airflow was 0467mg/stroke and the Reference Airflow is showing as 0405mg/stroke. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing the FIR0.
