Re: 1DS vs 1DS Mark II -- image quality. Everything about the mk2 is better ( write speed much much faster, lcd much better, noise much better, battery life much better and images from the mk2 (In my copy) are a lot easier to get the Wb in the ball park. But when you get it all right with the mk1 the images do have a quality all of it's own.
