May 4, 2023 2:35 PM in response to elvisfromlimassol. you can go to OWC’s website and see if there are hardware upgrades available for your specific Mac. if there are upgradeable options, they will have the parts. if there are no parts, (SSDs or RAM) available for that Mac, then it is not upgradeable. Basically it is advertised as being made for installing M.2 SSD on a A1708 MacBook Pro, and it has the same shape as the original Apple SSD. So I bought some Samsung 970 EVO Nvme M.2 1TB SSD. It fits perfectly on the adapter, but then when trying to install the whole thing, half of the new SSD stick out on top of the rest of the motherboard .
The short answer is no, it can't. At least not internally. Any extra storage you want to add must be done with external drives. As for the RAM, or Unified Memory as it's also known on the Apple
